Hi everyone! I recently had the opportunity to attend the CPAC political conference in Washington D.C. with five other politically minded Missouri students. Not only did we get to explore the sites, but we heard many speakers who have a lot of ideas for our country's future. We saw many leaders including Senator Michelle Bachman (MN), Former Gov. Mitt Romney (MA), Allen West (FL Rep), Newt Gingrich, Ann Coulture, Gov Rick Perry (TX), and many more. The week was packed full of speakers like these, with plans and already
thinking about the 2012 presidential election. Besides the conference, we were able to visit our Nations beautiful capital, and meet with my representative Vicky Hartzler. Washington was fantastic, and I love the patriotism I feel when I behold the wonderful memorials and capital building that represent so much of America's rich history.
